How the System Works
Rather than operating independent programs, ILS maintains a shared literacy philosophy, curriculum framework, and operational infrastructure across all delivery sites and initiatives. Programs such as International Language Academy (ILA), International Child Care Center (ICCC), ILS Educator Pathways, Read by 4 Detroit, and Milagro Training Center function as coordinated expressions of a single system. This structure ensures consistency, accountability, and scalability without fragmentation.
Implementation of the 7 Mile Scope Literacy Framework is guided by International Language Solutions through aligned programs and intentional educator preparation.

Our Role
As the framework holder, International Language Solutions maintains responsibility for literacy philosophy, curriculum design, instructional alignment, compliance systems, workforce pathways, data and accountability structures, and long-term strategic direction. This role allows individual programs to focus on delivery while remaining connected to shared standards, outcomes, and vision.
